In 2019, I watched my life collapse around me, powerless to do anything to stop it.

It was a morning like any other, except that my partner Brian woke up feeling "off". He was diagnosed with a terrifyingly aggressive cancer and died just seven weeks later. Our daughter was about to turn three.  

I remember looking around me and barely recognizing my own life. I had lost my partner, my little girl's father, my person but more than that, I had lost myself. I had no idea who I was anymore or how I would survive.
